American Mathematical Society

This section focuses on the funding in the American Mathematical Society from 1913-1939.  The project follows funding campaigns, publications, and membership with an emphasis on their various financial aspects. 

Flexibility played a significant role in the success of the AMS. From its inception as the NYMS, the Society made difficult decisions and maneuvered different financial and political landscapes.
